During my senior year of high school, I started out rather afraid of the college application process. I had no idea what to write in my Personal Essay and supplements, so I went to Wes hoping for some direction and inspiration. Within our first session together, my perspective on the application process changed, 180º! Wes inspired me to look deep into myself and write about what makes me feel, what makes me think, what makes me wonder and be creative. He simply prompted me to talk and reflect on what I care about. The way in which he did this was so insightful, worded so honestly and artfully; but he also left all the power to me, so that the essays would be completely my own. He made the application process an enjoyable and educational experience for me. He also asked me questions that helped me figure out which college was truly the right match for me.
